We are an independent design studio without an agenda; we work in a way that is not only right for our clients, but for us also. We only partner with those who have a similar mindset and can deliver the same high levels of excellence.

You’re only as good as your last project. As such we’re a design studio with creativity at its heart. Not only will we always push ourselves down a more creative pathway, we’ll lead our clients there also.

Every project’s led by me, Christopher Ball, a designer with more than a decade’s agency experience working for leading brands.
Over the years I’ve worked on projects for the NHS, Yotel, Waitrose, Balfour Beatty, Dunlop, Seiko and others. Starting Above & Beyond was the realisation of a long-held dream to follow in my father’s footsteps and to start my own business, taking the opportunity to work closely with clients and to deliver great design.
But we don’t always work alone, believing that the partnering model achieves the best results. When needed, we call on a best-in-class flock of strategists, writers, developers, videographers and illustrators in order to fully realise your projects.
